We made it through the bad weather unscathed.

Unfortunately many of our fellow Arkansans and Mid-Southerners did not.

The last count I heard was 24 dead across Arkansas, Tennessee & Kentucky.

Updated:
According to this story there are 48 dead throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky & Alabama.

We truly were lucky in this.

We watched the squall line get closer & closer until it was on top of us and our satellite signal went out. Even though it looked big and massive the worst part was way North of us and our portion of the storm lasted a mere five minutes and we escaped with no damage at all.

Many people were not as lucky.

Many thoughts and prayers for those around us who weren't as lucky as we were.

Is it just me or does it seem like weather is getting weird all over the place?

I'm sorry about your neck of the woods. Here on the prairie it just will not stop snowing. It has been the winter from hell.

February is the cruelest month, not April.

I agree with the weirdness. The past few weeks we are alternating between 70 & 40 with only a day or so in between.

Hell, we went from ice one Friday to 70 degrees the following Monday.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw real snow. Bet you wish you could ship it all off to those of us who never get it :)
